Social Responsibility

It's not enough for any business to just say they're socially responsible; they need to prove it. Nova Scotia Gaming Corporation (NSGC) is doing just that.

In October 2006, NSGC developed a Social Responsibility Charter that sets out its social responsibility commitments to the industry, its operators and retailers, and the citizens of Nova Scotia.

At NSGC, this means giving back to the community, being an environmental steward, and showing openness and transparency; it means balancing economic sustainability and social responsibility; it means being accountable to Nova Scotians; it means ensuring a safe and secure industry; and it means fostering responsible play.

NSGC is committed to building a better Nova Scotia, and uses its social responsibility charter to turn this commitment into actions that make a difference.
