Bob is the Acting President & CEO for the Nova Scotia Gaming Corporation (NSGC). In this role, he provides strategic leadership within a complex and diverse business environment. Bob approaches this multifaceted environment with a focus that provides direction, follow-through and results. His leadership style inspires personal and group excellence, transforming something strong into something superb. Prior to his position as Acting President & CEO, Bob was Vice-President Finance for NSGC.Bob is a long-time financial executive with expertise in strategic and business planning, governance, risk and compliance. Before joining NSGC, Bob was a senior manager and corporate executive with an IT company where he was responsible for all finance, accounting, human resource and administration functions. Originally from Cape Breton, Bob is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Masters of Business Administration from Saint Mary’s University. He is currently a volunteer Board member and Treasurer of the Hospice Society of Greater Halifax and previously was on the Board of the Kidney Foundation of Canada. |
